ContentPoor grounding is dangerous and contributes to unnecessary downtime and increases the risk of equipment failure. The Amprobe GP-2A Earth Ground Resistance Tester provides accurate and reliable measurements for ground resistance and soil resistivity to assure the safety and performance of an electrical system. The GP-2A is complete with PC software that allows the user to download critical recorded measurements and to create professional reports for customers.Like the AT-2004, the Amprobe AT-2005 Wire Tracer traces live wires buried or hidden behind walls up to 13 feet (4 m) thick without interrupting power. However, the AT-2005 electrical wire tracer also includes a battery booster that strengthens the signal for more accurately tracing opens and finding wires in walls. The AT-2005 is used for quickly locating breakers, broken wires, neutrals, grounds, shorts and pinpointing ground faults.Amprobe?s newest wire tracer combines a Receiver and powerful Transmitter to locate energized and de-energized wires, breakers, and fuses without having to disconnect any equipment. The Receiver features four tracing modes optimized for a range of applications. Its fully automatic breaker tracing capability saves time and eliminates the confusion of multiple false positives by detecting the highest recorded signal in a breaker or fuse. The Transmitter utilizes two optimized frequencies that allows for a clean and reliable signal. The Signal Clamp can be used in applications where there is no access to bare conductors by enabling the Transmitter to induce a signal into a wire through insulation. Whether you?re a novice user or an expert, the AT-6000 Amprobe Advanced Wire Tracer kit will help you get the job done fast. The Amprobe TACH20 Hand-held Tachometer accurately measures rotational or surface speed as well as length. It comes with a large LCD display that allows the user to easily read the measurement. It also has a built in memory function that permits automatic storage of maximum, minimum, average values plus the last measurement displayed. The Amprobe TMA-21HW Hotwire anemometer technology eliminates the use of bearings and rotating parts. When compared to standard bearing type probes, the compact Amprobe hotwire sensor is more reliable (no mechanical moving parts) and allows for easier access to duct and confined spaces. The Amprobe TMA-21HW Hotwire anemometer measures air flow volume and velocity, it features a telescopic probe for positioning the sensor, and is used by HVAC/R technicians to measure wind flow and temperature in air conditioning systems.
