An essential tool for electricians to ensure that voltage is not present before working on any electrical equipment or installation connected to the electrical system. Compliant with IEC 61243-3 Edition 2, the CA 773 VAT can be used to work on any 1000V CAT IV installation. To meet the requirements of the standards in certain countries, these testers are available in two versions: equipped with IP2X test probes or without. The C.A 773 has a redundant safety system in the event of power supply faults; the ELV LED flashes when the voltage exceeds 50VAC / 120VDC. Safety is ensured when testing GFCI and Residual Current Device (RCD) tripping by means of a double control system. Both hands are necessary to press the two buttons simultaneously. The integrated autotest checks the electrical circuits, power supply, displays and the condition of the measurement leads. Phase rotation measurement is simple and quick with the 2-wire microprocessor system. Audible and visual continuity testing is provided in compliance with Appendix B of the IEC 61243-3 standard. It is built into a rugged mechanical case and is designed using quality polycarbonate materials. This meter offers a complete set of measurement ranges and is in compliance with international safety and quality standards to ensure a professional and reliable measuring tool. The Model 514 is auto-ranging and provides the best measurement range and resolution for troubleshooting. It has a high resolution 40A range. The Model 514 measures AC and DC current, AC and DC voltage, resistance, continuity with beeper, and frequency from V or A. It also features a diode test function. The Model 514 also uses Hall sensor technology that provides both DC and AC current measurements to 1000A. The Model 514 is sized for comfortable, one-handed operation. This model is True RMS sensing responding to distorted signal electrical systems. The jaw openingis 1.575" (40mm).All equipment calibrations do not include any equipment warranty. Equipment that has any visible sign of damage will be documented and the customer will be notified before any services are performed. Any needed repairs will be quoted separately. All of our items will ship with Warranty Void tamper resistant seals. If these seals have been removed or tampered with, the Calibration will be void.
