The Model 5217 is a portable hand-held multimeter that measures a variety of electrical and physical quantities including voltage (AC and DC), resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature. These instruments can also perform continuity checks, voltage detection and diode testing (including forward bias voltage). Measurement features include Auto Range mode, which enables the instrument to select the best range for the input detected, and a Data HOLD function. | Content | The Ground Resistance Tester Model 6418 measures ground rod, busbar, and grid resistance and impedance without the use of auxiliary rods. Clamp-on ground resistance testers can be used in multi-grounded systems without disconnecting or de-energizing the ground system under test. The Model 6418 simply clamps around the grounding electrode or conductor and measures the resistance to ground.
