Description
ContentThe Amprobe PM55A is the ultimate pocket-sized multimeter. Only 3/8? thick and less than 3 oz in weight with full functionality offering AC and DC voltage measurement to 600 V, AC and DC current to 2000 ?A, resistance to 6 Megohm, capacitance to 2000 ?F, frequency to 30 kHz, diode test and continuity with beeper. It also offers VolTect?, a built-in, non-contact voltage detection feature for AC voltages. The Amprobe MLS55-3 Pipe transmitter is an optional accessory for the AT-3500 underground cable locator that allows for pinpointing places in pipes, ducts, etc. It can be inserted to the pipe/duct using standard fish tape or a duct rodder and can accommodate pipes over 2? (5 cm) in diameter. The ELS2A is for use with all models of clamp meters. It enables the user of a clamp meter to measure the current on a 2-wire or 3-wire power cord to 15 A without having to cut off the plug and separate the conductors, or opening electrical boxes on 120 V lines. The ELS2A also includes a 10X current multiplier loop for increased sensitivity and accuracy of low-current measurements. The Amprobe TL1500 test lead set contains two silicone-insulated lead wires, two standard probe tips, two alligator clips, and two spade lugs for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device in electrical testing applications. The 48? lead wires have silicone insulation to protect hands from shock and heat. The silicone insulation resists melting in hot environments and becoming brittle in cold ones, and it maintains flexibility better than polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation. The standard probe tips are held against the conductor during testing. The alligator clips (also called crocodile clips) have teeth that grip the conductor to provide a more secure, hands-free connection than the test probe tips. The clips are 3.15? long and have a 0.30? jaw opening. The spade lugs clamp to conductors with compression nuts or screws. The lead wires can be used with testing devices that have universal 4 mm jacks.
