Description

The Amprobe TL1500 test lead set contains two silicone-insulated lead wires, two standard probe tips, two alligator clips, and two spade lugs for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device in electrical testing applications. The 48? lead wires have silicone insulation to protect hands from shock and heat. The silicone insulation resists melting in hot environments and becoming brittle in cold ones, and it maintains flexibility better than polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation. The standard probe tips are held against the conductor during testing. The alligator clips (also called crocodile clips) have teeth that grip the conductor to provide a more secure, hands-free connection than the test probe tips. The clips are 3.15? long and have a 0.30? jaw opening. The spade lugs clamp to conductors with compression nuts or screws. The lead wires can be used with testing devices that have universal 4 mm jacks.

The lead wires can be used with testing devices that have universal 4 mm jacks. The TL-PRM-6 from Beha-Amprobe is a test lead set for use with Amprobe PRM-6 phase sequence and motor rotation tester. The Amprobe MLS55-3 Pipe transmitter is an optional accessory for the AT-3500 underground cable locator that allows for pinpointing places in pipes, ducts, etc. It can be inserted to the pipe/duct using standard fish tape or a duct rodder and can accommodate pipes over 2? (5 cm) in diameter. The Amprobe TL36A test lead set contains two PVC lead wires with two threaded probe tips and two threaded alligator clips for connecting a compatible electrical test meter to a device in electrical testing applications. The 48" lead wires have silicone insulation to protect hands from shock and heat. The silicone insulation resists melting in hot environments and becoming brittle in cold ones, and it maintains flexibility better than polyvinyl chloride (PVC) insulation. The lead wires have standard probe tips that are held against the conductor during testing. The alligator clips (also called crocodile clips) screw onto the probe tips and have teeth that grip the conductor to provide a more secure, hands-free connection than the test probe tips. The clips are 2.67" long and have a 0.30" jaw opening. The probe tips and the included alligator clips are threaded, allowing for a more secure connection than non-threaded tips and clips. The lead wires can be used with testing devices that have universal 4 mm jacks. The kit meets International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) safety standard 61010 and is certified for category III installations up to 1,000V, which covers items used with enclosed building circuit installations (service panel parts, branch circuits, and fixed installations that are connected directly to a building's AC power supply). It also conforms to applicable European Conformity (CE) directives. The AF-600 A-Frame cable ground fault finder is specifically designed for the Amprobe UAT-600 Underground Utilities Locator Series. In combination with the UAT-600 Transmitter, it will pinpoint the place where a cable metal conductor (either a sheath or a metallic conductor of the wire) touches the ground. It can also detect other conductors to ground faults such as pipeline coating defects.
